 I am sure this used to work on my site but I have switched on file saving for sounds on my site now and when you try to download a file, it just creates a file called FlashTmp0.tmp instead.
Please can anyone shed any light on what this problem might be please? We want to introduce downloads but something has gone wrong somewhere.

Okay, so it appears that this is how Boonex process the downloads...? As it appears to have worked.
Is this what should be happening, a .tmp file is downloaded in miliseconds and then depending on the size of the downloaded file, it takes a while to process the file and display it as a .mp3?
Why can't it just download a file like any other normal website? This is going to cause chaos with members, they will expect to see their browser download manager popup detailing the progress of the download.
The download process I have just witnessed on my own site is so informative and unusual, all members are just going to complain that it isn't working.
Please advise. |
