Help on site loading times

i have just installed dolphin 7 on my server and it is taking at least 40-45 seconds to load each page. I have a similar site using dolphin 6 and the loading time is how i would expect it. I have tried to extra code in the .thaccess file but still no better. I have even talked to my Hosting provider who says all seems to be ok with the server. Any tips on what may be wrong.

If i cant get a better loading speed then i may have to revert to a differant package as dolphin 7 would not be very user friendly.

Sounds like a server config issue.  I am with terabyte-hosting and pages in 7.0.2 generally load in 5-10 seconds, with a max of 20 for chat or if there are many video elements.  There are posts on correct settings, but details on a complete setup may require contacting a member with that experience.
