How do i stop some notifications?

Hi my i really need to know how to get rid of the constant notifications that pop up when your profile is viewed. If you know how to stop them please help. Thanks

If you are using V7.0.2, In your admin panel goto Advance Settings -> Other -> Enable new DHTML notifications rather than popup.

This will stop the popup and you will get an red exclamation mark in your task bar.
