How to remove BoonEx news feed from admin page?

I have been looking throughout the Forums and Market for a modification to remove the BoonEx news feed on the admin home page with no success.  Does anyone have a solution for this?

There should be an option for this under administration, settings, advanced settings. You have to change the number from "1" to "-1." Note that you can't remove the extensions feed, unless you make modifications to the script's code.
