How can i remove meta tag was previously inserted in INJECTIONS

You can manage the head and body injections from the Admin Panel => Settings => Basic Settings. Just delete the line you don't want loaded anymore, or clear the whole textbox to remove everything.

I do not see any code there any more, but the redirection code i inserted earlier still  in effect.

Did you originally add it there, and not to a file? If to the template's _header.html file directly, it needs to be removed from there. If not, try clearing the cache from the Admin Panel => Tools => Cache. If you're using a service like Cloudflare, it may also be caching something, so try clearing that as well.
