Installing on GoDaddy

Ok, this drove me nuts for hours and I just got it up and running and now am trying to figure out how to move it away from looking like a dating site.

I searched on how to install this and ran into road blocks but I was able to finally get it.

If you're using GoDaddy and you keep getting some strange server error try this:

First, download the httaccess file to your desktop so you have a copy of it.

Then...delete the httacess file that comes with the download.

Now try navigating to the directory. The dolphin install should pop up with out any problems.

Now for everyone else...any tips for getting the dating stuff off of this thing? I'm trying to create something thats a little more teen / kid / school friendly. Would prefer not to ask them if they're a couple looking for? if you know what I mean...

Thanks!

You can disable most of that in the Admin Panel, to disable Couple registration, just hide the profile field from view.

Dolphin is now Universal, in terms of a Social Network, you can change/alter any block/field you want.

Already many have reported that Godaddy.com doesn't meet dolphin requirements.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
