Keeping Outline 7.1.6 in-place of 7.2

Hello,

Outline 7.1.6 is one of the reasons we have invested in Dolphin.

The Outline in 7.2 looks as if it will do ....

1. From the simple ICONS in the upper left corner

2. a simple format that looks and feels professional.

It makes a truly great splash page APP. But now
its ??? The elegance of Outline has bubbled into...

QUESTION: Will there be a way to keep the format
of the original Outline?

What I'm asking is, is there a way to keep 7.1.6 Outline
without going in and rewriting from the core
back up to the viewer?

7.2 in so many ways has become a serious professional
contender. It will give webmasters the ability to create/mold
systems  into their individuality.

Great work, but I do have one philosophy that I learned
and it always seems to work: "If it isn't broke, don't fix it."

One Girls perspective. And yes adding form posts, etc could
be a nice idea, but with 200 to 20,000 or  more...
Too many feeds ....

Thank you,

Ms. Robyn

I have not looked that closely at the Outline in 7.2; if it is just CSS changes then tweaks to the template is all that is needed.

Geeks, making the world a better place

Use alt template in 7.2 instead of evo.

But it was broken.  The outline didn't adapt to different screen sizes very well, and it was impossible to change the layout via templates.  Wall item widths were calculated based on hard coding in the source files.

There were plenty of things to fix.

I have another philosophy: " If it IS broke, go ahead and fix it"

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Outline block on homepage in 7.2 looks pretty the same as in 7.1, but additionally Timeline block was also added. So you can remove Timeline block from homepage and leave Outline block, so it will look almost the same.

How do we stop objects sliding in from the left on the timeline?

That makes it all look jumpy.
