Logging into site is slow

My site seems to load fast in all browsers (except of course IE - which sadly more than half my visitors use).

However, logging in seems to take a long time.  It almost seems like the more members I have, the longer it takes to log in.

I've already added the mod deflate to my .htaccess and I've removed a bunch of modules that I felt I could live without.

However, many members will likely get frustrated when it takes a full ten seconds to log in and view their members page.

Anybody else experiencing this?  Any additional suggestions or thoughts?

Perhaps it's due to the amount of time it takes to load the member's account page. Have you tried making things more minimalistic?

Yes, I've removed pretty much everything from the members page.  I removed one more thing and now it loads an average about 1 second faster.  It's still slow, but I guess I will have to live with it.

My other dolphin 7 site, which only has a few members, logs in much, much faster.  I can't help but wonder if it has something to do with the amount of members.  This site now averages about 185 new members a day.

Hi,

I have the same issue, I have around 7,000 members, and it is really slow to login to the website, I take around 30 to 40 seconds for the account page to load.please let me know if you found a solution for this case.

Best Regards,

Osama
