I'm trying to login to my Boonex account via the google chrome browser but the login box does not show, just giving the fading black (grey mask) effect. Does this happen to you?

Same here, but then, Google Chrome is not really stable yet. Diddy is not greedy and has time. Dolphin is cool and its not just mine :-) |
Yes. Same problem here too. |
The same here Kids first |
Use fire fox. google crome isnt that compatable with boonex, for instance i cant login here with google crome (all i get is a grey mask over everything preventing me from clicking on anything after i press the login button) but i can when i use fire fox. |
yeah i use firefox long time ago. but on my dolphin installed site the login box is showing using chrome. weird huh. |
Same here - and I have seen this happen on some sites with other browsers too (Firefox I think it was, but maybe it was IE6). I think it is the CSS - the popup login box pops up way up above the top of the screen, out of view where you can't use it. If it was just Chrome, it would be fine and acceptable, but something is definitely not quite right. |
Its not only Chrome, Opera can't be used to write blogs messages :) also on this site... Kids first |
Unfortunately though it is not very realistic to say "the solution is to use Firefox" . Dolphin is *Community* software, so by deefinition you would think the aim is to include everybody possible. After all we don't want it to be: Dolphin - Community Software (for Firefox). Unless maybe you wish to use it to build a community site for firefox users. But I think most people wish to include everybody :) To be fair, it is mostly compatible with IE7 too I think. But as i said I did have one site I put together for someone where the login bug happened in IE too. I got around it by changing the link to avoid the popup login and link direct to login.php or members.php (one or the other, I forget which). |
