Maintenance mode ?

Hi I need to change DNS of my dolphin website and before making the change my hosting provider is asking me to disable all dynamic content of my site. Does anyone know how to do that >??

I don't see how that would matter at all but if it does you should
probably ask them what they mean and why it's necessary.

Does the hosting company also provide your domain hosting?

Are you moving your site to a different provider?

If so, LEAVE everything running at old site and get the site setup at new

place and then change your dns to point to the new IP address and
once it propagates it will simply go to new ip with no interruptions.

Otherwise you will have down-time if you trash the old site.
