 This question is probably hidden somewhere but I can't find it, is it possible to run Dolphin as a multisite install. Basically what I'm after doing is similar to www.snowboard.com (look at the top where you can change category to other sports) these all use the same user information but different content.
Ideally I'd have one general area in the forums but specialised areas as well for each sub site. Is that also possible? |
You could have one main Dolphin in stall in your root directory, and then make custom pages for each sport - with rss feeds for the forums, etc. Then you could use that top menu to link to each of those custom pages. Mrpowless has a tutorial on how to change that top top menu (it is a real pain) and also how to make friendly urls for custom pages, which I think you will want. That would be my approach, maybe others here have other ideas. - Rob |
