Nav link to subdomain ( How?)

I just added a affiliate rakeback site in a sub domain. Its built to look just like the main site.

I want to add a link to it in the main nav bar, but in builders you can not add a sub domain url.

Is there a way I can add the button through builder but manualy add the url or link.

thanks

Adam

Within the Navigation Menu Builder your right, I had never tried to link the test & productin sites before.  I just attempted it and when I put /subdomain to reference the subdomains site it took me to http://subdomain.mydatery.com/subdomain/ which will not work.  It recognized the subdomain but then added an extra directory that I did not want.

Interesting piece of information, now I'm going to have to play with it a little and see if I can't find a way around this.

You can use meta redirects,

create a new file my_subdomain.php or something and use code below

<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="0;URL=http://www.my_subdomain.com">

Add a New Item in the main nav bar and set URL and Target Window like below

URL: my_subdomain.php

Target Window: New

enter also System Name, Language Key, Default Name and Visible for
