Pictures by the forums

Hey is it possible to put pics by the forum post that is on the front page?

Like it is when you actually hit the forum topics and there is a picture of the last person who commented.

I have checked in several files, and just cant seem to call the thumbnail for the forums.

I like how it looks when the blogs have the little thumbnails in it

Anyone have any ideas?
