Please clarify - HTML email notifications

I just can not figure this out in 6.1:

Can the system send out HTML notification emails or not?

Right now its sending TEXT emails and there seems to be no option to change that. I asked Boonex and they said that would be a customization I would need to create myself!

How can that basic feature disappear in an upgraded version?

Why are the HTML email fields available in admin then?

I am confused here....Undecided

Yes, You can add your own html tags. Dolphin will include it in mails.

It surely can, unless you asked for text in the join process. The email templates can be pure html. Your default

is only text. Have you loaded images and other html tags and they are not sent?

if you have made that ...is your email setup to accept html?

I have video tutorials to help you mrpowless.com

i was wondering this myself, i have the box checked, but it still doesnt send out any notifications, kinda hard to run a decent site without this pretty basic feature.

It seems there is a problem in the database structure.

Look the profiles table  for notifyemails.

It should be ENUM('NotifyMe','DoNotNotify')

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
