SMTP Mailer issue with Amazon SES

Dear Support,

                      I have been trying to configure SMTP mailer with AMAZON SES SMTP but enable, when i ever i give its settings it dont work and if i try to use the gmail smtp then it work, but i want to use it with AMAZON SES, please look into this matter,

It should work, but I haven't been able to test it. Make sure all the settings are correct: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/send-email-smtp.html

A quick check shows it requires to use TLS and different credentials.

any testing service on it. or error logs location to check the logs
