Shifting webhosts

I plan to change my webhost. How do i shift my website?

Can i insatll a fresh dolphin6.1.1 in the new server and just replace the database?

or do i need to do something else.

please give me detailed help.

Yes, you can install in new and move the database.

Couldn't you just do a backup from your old site, then move that one file to your new installation and do a restore?  Sorry, not sure where that file should go.

If you are moving from 6.0 to 6.1 you have to upgrade the database.

Just make a install in new server and import the database to phpmyadmin and edit inc/header.inc.php

then change the database info to the new transfered database.
