Shoutbox De ja vu

Right. Just upgraded to D7.0.2 from D7.0.1. It happened last time and it seems to be happening again. The bloomin' shoutbox keeps deleting the messages. I applied the same fix as last time by changing the clean messages field to Zero seconds but its still deleting them.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one?

Shoutbox seems to be working properly now... just put in something like 35000 (seconds) or whatever, it is working for me.

Another reason why I prefer the Flash shoutbox...

Hey thanks for pointing out what should have been blatantly obvious to me. I was so used to having a partially broken site with all kinds of fixes for all kinds of broken things that it actually never occurred to me that they might have fixed the problem of shoutbox messages being deleted almost immediately after they were written.

*Note to oneself*: Boonex ARE actually fixing their Dolphin script.

Foot in mouth

The shoutbox isn't HTML5. And although I do promote open standards, I also have a personal liking for Flash.

Damn right, I'm a hypocrite and proud.
