Thumbnail or avatar photos

Hello,

I am doing a site for a client using dolphin 7.  I did a search on this issue and found messages about needing to clarify whether we are talking about a thumbnail or an avatar.  My client does not like the images that are so small at all.  I understand this may be a problem with the template in places.  I read that in looking at other posts that if you make it bigger than 32x32 or 64x64 you might not like the results.  I'll have to then fix the template display to accommodate that.  My client wants the smallest thumbnail previous to be about 150x125 ( we are modeling off a site he likes that is a dating site and their display of profile photos is about that size).

If the thumbnails are already generated though, on any images uploaded that's a problem if we cannot change this to have images that can be used.  The site is in the testing phase still with about 1000 test members with photos.  So, there must be a way to regenerate the thumbnail images.  I could use a desktop application and then I just need to figure out where they are stored by dolphin so that I can upload the new avatars/thumbs.  That has been tricky because using Firebug I'm finding folders in the path to the image that do not even exist on the site - possibly.  Maybe I'm mistaken.  I mean every image has to be stored somewhere in some folder.

Thanks,

Bruce

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
