Users restricting access to unregistered viewers

Is it possible to give site users the option to make their videos/photos/whole profile only accessible to registered members?

I've given non-member absolutly NO privileges yet they can still get past the home page and see our forums, event. etc. Is there a way to prevent members from getting past the home page?

Have another question: when participants 'join' an event their name, photo and AGE is posted. Can the AGE be removed? Thanks in advance.
