Video Recorder Ray Converstion Failed in 3.5

There must be something bogus in the newest version of ray server. Everything works except when ray server tries to convert movies who is recorded with Profile Video in Dolphin. The file gets uploaded to the ray server and it starts to convert it but after a while it bails out.

The user sees this as a succesful convertion but only gets a black screen and they cannot record another movie until admin has deleted their folder from their ray server...

Here is a log file from the Ray server

Wonder what is unhandled Ping?

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but how were you able to get your license to work?  It seems a lot of us are having trouble setting up Ray, "wrong license"

Im using the free version and just typed in my old licenses from my account..

Did you set permission 777 for ffmpeg.exe in RMS.

I am having the same problem.  I did make sure that ffmpeg.exe is 777 in my Ray folder.  Could it be looking for it anywhere else?  Is there anything else you can think of that we should check?

Did you set permission 777 for ffmpeg.exe in RMS.

Using RMS 3.5.1 I get a JAVA exception error as soon as the video recorder has stopped recording.

[ERROR] 2008-09-23 15:15:24,578 pool-3-thread-4:( org.red5.server.messaging.InMemoryPushPushPipe.pushMessage ) exception when pushing message to consumer
java.nio.BufferUnderflowException

So I don't even get to the ffmpeg portion, because the process has already died, eventually fmmpeg is called and it fails, but I believe that is just because ffmpeg was never passed a valid video.

Anytime this server process fails, the client sees the dialog to preview video, but it is just a blan/black screen, assumed to be because no video was converted.

We are having the same problem. Boonex support tolds us we must record video with sound and it works this way, but if you do not make any sound while recording, the exception you report is thrown. This is a bug and by the boonex support answer, they are aware... Unfortunately, it is not a solution.. We cannot make the users record the video with sound...

This seems to be my problem too...

I do record video with audio but still no luck. Anyone got something I can try.

Happiness is a warm gun.
