What is WAMP?

Would a WAMP Server have done for me in a few minutes, what Ive taken 2 days to do?

That is - Install Apache, PHP, MySQL, phpMySQLAdmin, GD Library, SendMail, etc?

After building my own server, I still couldnt get Doplhin to install :-(.  (I admit - it might be something wrong with my server build)

So I'm going back to Joomla 1.5. There is an integrated forum called "Agora", which I have managed to install on my Windows server and on my hosting provider.

It seems that if I want to use Dolphin, I need a specific web hosting service.

I might try Doplhin again in the future, and I will install WAMP and see if the install will work.

u can try godaddy vps or shared hosting. they work great.
