You can download the changeset and overwrite the old files with the new ones. For changes that involve SQL files, that's another story. You should always backup before applying untested code.

I tried to update a few manually, but I could not find the correct lines to change.  The lines do not match what i am seeing in trac, What do I do now?

At the bottom of a changeset's page, there will be a download link, which will give you the updated files. You need to overwrite the old ones with the new ones. As always, backup first.

I did a few, not really sure I need all of them, or which ones are the important ones.   I am worried about the update, I lost a one of the most important mods that I was using when I went to 7.0.4
