Why can't I edit my own classifieds?

I have put the classified "actions" block on my classifieds page.  This gives me the option to edit or delete the classified.  When I click "edit", however, it just goes to an empty page.  Does anyone know why this might be?

Also, I've been trying to figure out how to change the "country" on the classified, so that it is not necessarily linked to the country of the member who posted it.  For example, if I want to enter a classified for "France" - even though I am from the U.S., I would like to be able to do that.  If anyone can think of any creative solutions for this please let me know.

Fixed - question withdrawn- the ID field and autoincrement was not setting properly.

I'm still looking for ideas on the countries field issue though, or how to add any other field to the classified as a drop down, and have that also be a search function.
