installation problem

Hi

I bet you read this all the time..... I'm new to Boonex

Tried to upload to 1and1.com and got problems with the permission page....everything was 'red'

Can anyone explain how I make the changes

I'm not too technical so please feel free to explain in detail

Many thanks

Sam

You need to change the permissions via your FTP program that you installed Dolphin with.  Click on "Info" in your FTP progam, change it to the settings specified on the permissions page.  Yeah, it will take a while, take it slow, hit "check" often at the bottom of the install page.

Hi,

Another way is to (using your FTP program) navigate to the files indicated in the install instructions - and when you find each file, right click on it and you should have a "File Attributes" or "File Permissions" or "info" link. Click on that and type the new numbers in the box.

So 644 will be changed to 666 etc. Go through all of them and then click check to make sure you havent forgotten any.

Cheers

Max
