I am new to dolphin and I want to be able to set up a profileform another site we have by using a script to create the user and password and have it already active ie no confirmation email. I will of course check to see if the profile exists etc and handlethe obvious exceptions. reading through the code it didn't seems to have a nice obvious way to go about creating such a script. any suggestions.
ie i will call a url with a username password passed in as parametrs and return a value indicating sucess failure etc.
I just need to know if there is a quick way to create a profile I know I can set the status to active with a sql statement. I would rather use the class interfaces if I can rather than brute force something which will break on the next upgrade etc.
any suggestions.
I am still searching the guts for how it works but I want to be sure I do it right and I am under a time constraint to get it working
