postinstall permission checker

I recently uploaded D7 from xammp localhost to live sever (www). I want to check permissions so I know everything will work as expected. Please let me know how to check folder/files permissions.

You can always check via the host tools page in your administration section under administration, tools, host tools. There will be a page with file and directory permissions.
