upgrade from 7.0.0 to 7.0.1 - broken links

Yesterday I did an upgrade from 7.0.0 to 7.0.1 and all important links seems to be broken

Can someone please let me know how do I fix the links?

I accidentally deleted(uninstall & reinstall) about 1800 pictures while trying to fix the pictures module.

Is it possible to retrieve the lost pictures? I did not do a backup.(yes, that was very stupid of me)

I managed to fix the broken links by adding the .htaccess file to the root directory of the website.
