Have you made changes to the .htaccess file in anyway?

Something to check, and this is just a shot in the dark.. Is mod_security running on your server? The reason I ask is when I used it I had to comment out a rule that was blocking emoticons. Sometimes when mod sec blocks stuff you get a server error.

Could you please be more specific, that way I can check what you are suggesting me to do, thank you.

Just installed and am testing Dolphin and encountered the same. Under cpanel for the site, I checked the PHP modules and had to check "fileinfo". Once that was set, the 500 errors for image uploads went away.

I hope this helps another Dolphin newbie, like I am. :)
