Custom Module - light box concept - similar to stock footage

I want to create a module that would allow a user a create a photo portfolio that is searchable by other members and the create a lightbox in which to place these porfolios and then send via e-mail.

Basically what I am looking to do is create talent portfolios of videos, photos and voice demos.  Allow users to search and find talent, add to a lightbox and then e-mail a link to that lightbox to a client.
