I have a feeling you are confused as to what facebook connect is. Facebook connect allows people to signup on your site using there facebook information. Basically they click facebook connect on your site, it will prompt them to log onto facebook, then the module imports their information from facebook and creates a new account on your site using that information. It is an alternate signup method. Nothing more.
