Video competition - results (TOP50) - promotion.

This is a large project which we have been trying to get developed for some time. It is for a premium subscription site so it MUST be right. I have produced a very detailed 23 page PDF brief for this application. Please do not bid on this project unless you are 100% confident that you can meet the spec as laid out in the brief. The successfull developer will have to work in conjunction with Global Dance Network Ltd and our project manager to fullfill the requirements of the application.

Global Dance Chart

This application consists of 3 main elements.

1. A main video competition with 13 different dance categories (salsa, ballroom, ballet etc). Entries are uploaded to youtube from within our site (we have this uploader already). Entries are viewed from a block on the competition page. Visitors to the site can vote on entries. Entries can be shared on facebook.

2. Results (TOP 50). This is to display the results of the competition in a list format. There will be one list for each category displayed on the appropriate page of the site, and one overall results list displayed on the home and competition pages.

3. Self (video) promotion scroller. This module will enable entrants to the competition to promote their videos within the site by paying for thumbnails to be placed in a scroling promotion line on the home and competition page.

A further 3 sub elements (prizes block, hall of fame block and rules block) are required. A profile block displaying current placings is also required.

All back office integration, functionality, processes and design layouts are detailed within the design brief. If you would like to bid on this job please read the brief first as this site is already 10 weeks behind schedule.

Preference will be given to developers that can implement "PREFURED" methods within the brief such as the use of AJAX forms.

Payment will be on achievement of agreed milestones throughout the length of the project. A bonus will be offered for early completion and exceeding the design spec and functionality targets. This is now a time critical application! Please do not bid if you can not devote the time to complete this project.
