Auto Join Group

The mod allows your members to Join Groups on the site upon registration. There are two methods to do this :

METHOD A - AUTO JOIN

With the Auto Join method, the site administrator can setup categories of members who will be automatically assigned to specified groups upon joining the site. There are several criteria that can be used to identify members that will belong to a particular category.

These criteria are :

a) Age
b) Country of residence
b) City of residence
c) Gender
d) Language

Each category can be assigned to one or multiple Groups.

For example, Administrator could setup the site so that all males aged 50 and above would automatically be assigned to a group called "Male Health Tips" or all site members living in Miami could be assigned to a group called "Miami Dolphins" etc.


METHOD B - SELECT GROUP ON JOIN PAGE

With this method, there is a select box on the join form which gives members the choice to select which groups they want to join. This list is automatically updated whenever new groups are added to the site or existing groups are edited/deleted.

Administrator can decide whether or not only groups that are created by the administrator appear in the selection list.
