Boonex save Expertzzz Forum

Friends,

As Boonex announced that Expertzzz will be shut down soon and its needed to be merged with Unity.

I thought forum posts at Expertzzz are very helpful for community members. Lots of time me took tips from their to modify my Dolphin sites.

Friends please share your views here.

Boonex pls tell us... are you going to save forum posts of Expertzzz ?

I have never used those forums, but on the face of it, it sounds like a reasonable request. Even if they cannot merge them, maybe some sort of archive would be in order.

cbassthefish, it is very old Forum with 59118 posts, and increasing. Lots of valuable info.

If they really want to make this a "real name" site, they are going to have a huge mess if they try to "merge" those two communities. Actually I thought when they first launched Unity they should have made this a real name site, and kept that one as their "anonymous communication" site. I would never shut down an active community like that, it just needs some minimal management, which they don't give it.

Caltrade, Lots of Expert either banned or active post at Expertzzz forum, so it will be good if Boonex save this as it is.

We're not turning Unity into a "real name" site. We're adding an option to display real names, that's it. Unity will accommodate Expertzzz users just fine.

As for Forumz - we'll make sure to save archives and move them to Unity forums.

Expertzzz is indeed a live site, but we're cutting down on separate projects, concentrating on just BoonEx/Dolphin, so we could spend more time for development and UNity management.

Thanks Andrew, the same me looking for at Expertzzz as a live site with cutting all that is not needed.

If you are moving Expertzzz Forum post to Unity, that is also good as we can search all info at one place. Thanks a lot.
