If they really want to make this a "real name" site, they are going to have a huge mess if they try to "merge" those two communities. Actually I thought when they first launched Unity they should have made this a real name site, and kept that one as their "anonymous communication" site. I would never shut down an active community like that, it just needs some minimal management, which they don't give it.
