Issues with Profile Searches

Hi there, we hope that we can get some assistance from anyone out there who has experienced similar issues.
We seem to be having a great deal of trouble with the search pages as they are not returning results for members that meet the chosen criteria...
Also our Zodiac signs have dissappeared.
Please take a look if you have had any similar problems and let us know your thoughts....

My point is that small changes seem to break the code causing all kinds of anomalies I wanted some feedback from people who are are experiencing similar issues when making changes to fields etc...
And I am compiling the language file as suggested...

I just had to replace some code "&" with the char "&" in some files to correct the problem.
Unfortunately I don't remember the few files I had to edit as it was several months ago...

But .. what here wrong? .. seems work correctly.
I tried to search for singles, from UK and with pics, .. different params .. and all normal here.
The browse.php search form is the one I am really struggling with. Anyway I will move this to the forum as sugested and post a link here.
