The Future of Ray, and D7 Questions

I have some questions about Ray Suite and Dolphin 7.

Will there be an update in Ray alongside D7? There are many bugs in Ray that need dealing with, many, many bugs, D7 is all well and good but if we still have the same old Ray it's gonna put a downer on the whole thing.

Will there be a patch to upgrade D6 to D7 or are we looking at a rebuild? I've seen this question asked elsewhere and not found an answer, it is very important.

I'm about to make myself look dumb, but I'm sure others are thinking the same thing... What the heck is a trac and how can I squeeze info on D7 out of it? Could you perhaps maybe just give us a quick overview of the differences between D6 and D7?

For those of us that received free adfree licenses, will these licenses also work for D7 and the Ray that accompanies D7?

I get that D7 is a Beta and you guys are crazy busy at the moment, but for those of us that aren't exactly clued in on what's going on, could you maybe make things a bit clearer for us please?
