and this is on a local server? you need to shell in, which i dont even know if you can do with a wamp environment if that is what that is. at any rate, give more information, as speculation as to what you are running would only mislead you and use my time. will help you if i know more of what you have going on.

you can find RMS install manual (possible in some places here old text) .. but in common all right here
"put it on my server" not sure what that means, but you will need to modify all the red5-*.Properties files correctly, and make sure the ports are open and configured correctly.

I am assuming since you did not mention JRE, that you havnt really installed this, you possibly downloaded it, unzipped it, and expected it too work ??

this reminds of the young lady who came in here ranting one day about where the button was located at to build her website. just went on and on about where the button was. I was rolling that day. Go Figure.

on a side note noone wants to hear smart ass shit when there trying to find help so if you don't have anything helpful to say shut the fuck up and keep moving
Deoblo,

If you read the post, everyone wanted to help, you just didnt give any information on what was done, and how.

You say you unzipped it.. can you tell us this:

1) what os
2) were did you unzip too
3) what configurations did you do ?
4) what version of JRE are you using (and installed)
5) what ports did you set the RMS too, and are they open on your server
6) what user did you do all the above as ?

If you are able to provide this information, then all the people above would see more be more then capable of assisting you in getting your issue resolved.

CyberXing thanks for that, and I appoligise for being rude

the OS on my server is appache on the computer Im using is vista
I had to unzip it onto my desktop the server would not allow me to unzip it on the server

I was not able to get to configure it at all

Im not sure what the JRE is but if you mean the dolphin software Im using dolphin 6.1 and ray 3.5

I tryed setting the ports to 1535 and 1536 and 5008 I think what ever it said in the dirrections and I also tryed the default ports see more that are 10000 and 10080

and I added every thing in as admin

I hope that helps but thats about as far as I got,

oh and I put it in a file in the root directory named RMS
Deoblo,

I am sorry to say that this installing the RMS is a bit more complicated then the process you are doing.

Your OS is "Windows Vista" and your webserver is "Apache".

(I am confused if you server is vista or just your desktop)

You will need to install Java JRE 1.6, and then do manual config editing on all the .properties files to match your system configuration.

JRE is sun's Java Runtime Enviroment, and dont take this the wrong way, but if you dont know what see more it is, and have never dealt with it, you are going into some uncharted waters, and this is a bit more complicated then just a simple installation.

What os is your server (windows or linux)
Do you have root access to your server ?
why would it not let you unzip it (what did it do) ?
What version of RMS (windows or linux) did you download ?
