Any MEDIA customization should be expanded in the Admin --> Content Section and should build off of the Moderation Feature(s) which could also tie into Membership Levels. Providing control<-- At least from the Admin Side
--> Community Members should partcipate off of those levels,actions, preset MAIN/SUB category tree while having "basic" / "media albums" / controls in the SWF.
For instance: Upload Music to ROCK Category which either (MembershipLevels/Action) see more can be customize to ROCK --> subCat --> "Jonny'sRockBand Jams" or if no customized option is available then the folder which is created defaults to "Members Profile Name" I.e Jonny'sRockBandPage if they can NOT create a subfolder then it is place in the assigned subCAT which was identified in the ADMIN as a general MEDIA community folder.
This also might allow for creating "FEATURED" media which might be added as a tab in the BLOCKS.
AndreyP and Sammie are on to something here... I was about to write an email to Boonex about this. The Video and Music feature to Dolphin is basic. The Music & Video functions of Dolphin should be more of an all-in-1 Gallery where site members could search for videos, music and pictures. Currently there no search functionality within the video and music section of dolphin, so this would be a great addition. This feature should also permit members to search gallery for media which they could then see more add to their profile. This would help site admin to keep the content of their site as clean as possible as well as help in keeping web resource intact; members then have the ability to add as much media content to their profile (Example music from gallery as a playlist).The admin panel should permit site admin to upload media as well.

How about tag info for media within the gallery…would it be see more possible to add tags for the artist and so forth. Artist pics..
