I agree that categories are needed for all uploaded media, to better structure content. Only the admin should define the category list, but users may be allowed to suggest a category.
While you are at modifying the Flash script, can't you make this more general and incorporate a mini builder? Besides categories, I would also like to add in the countries list. Others may like to add in even a city field, or something else. If you think the amount of work for this is not justified, how can we add see more in extra fields for our own sites?
