Ok, this isn't going to win me any more friends, but .. uh.. When I found Dolphin, it was on a search for suitable DATING or relationship focused community software. I know many people wish to use it for non-dating systems, but can we not forget that it was designed and promoted as such, and you're leaving the demographic that you targeted?

I hope this doesn't mean 7 will be even more difficult for dating sites. As it is, the matching system is difficult to grok, and even with the couples profiles, see more setting it up for alternate type relationships is tuff because it assumes 1-to 1 matching ala typical boy meets girl. I wouldn't fuss about that because that is the norm with dating software, but if you move even further away from a dating application, will I have to start searching for something again?

Understand it's a business decision to make the system easy for non-dating use, but please don't shift to primarily social and make dating features a forgotten sub-set of the features set.

Let's hope we get the best of both worlds and we can be able to turn the dating parts on or off, so that everyone can be happy.

I'm with you ladybugn !!!

Me too choosed Dolphin (it was v. 5.6) to build a DATING site.

Even if D7 is the best staggering script with so many possibilities, I'm quite unhappy with it to run a Dating site :-((

I know that BoonEx already planed to split Dating and Social networking script for the next release (D8 / ???) and I am still impatient to see that ;-)

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
