i kinda sorta agree with you tyke, there are other sites where you earn privs. say you have 50 forum posts, then you can post 1 advert in blogs or any other faction of the site. 100 forum posts 3 adverts site wide so on and so forth, so yes it could be an incentive. direct and strict rules should apply, and again, solidarity in the rules, and these rules could come from the community. we all know we dont want offensive adverts, ie sexual explicit ads, although i dont mind them, they may be found see more offensive to the one who is creating a Christian site. so there is a marginal line of what can be considered productive and what is considered spamming. i dont care about gift baskets any time anywhere, but this post was not necessarily about the gift baskets post.
