In reply to Thumbs Voting
DosDawg
there has been some discussion with myself and others in regards to the thumbs up thumbs down issue. i have read and agree partly with most every post on here. i personally prefer to keep the thumbs up thumbs down voting, however, it should not be allowed to an anonymous poster. furthermore, the poster even if answering a post, could be required to have 180 days as a mature member of the community, so we are not seeing "do drop ins" posting their negative feedback with no proof-positive see more experience.

the suggestion by TheSoMeEx is also logical. there are so many excellent choices that are available, but all must understand, the focus from Boonex and the development staff is directly on the development of the next dolphin release. i think its imperative that we as the members sort this amongst ourselves and where we are all within bounds in our suggestions regarding the thumbs up thumbs down voting system, do we really want to have this as a distraction for the development team, moreover, do we really want to see new members stepping into this forum and blog reading such nonsense as we have seen in relation to the thumbs up thumbs down?

just my thoughts, and hope we can generate some positive feedback on this?

Regards,
DosDawg

DD you say 180 days, whos mad cap idea was it to allow people to become pundits with less than 10 posts? YEA HELLO access to Trac and can delete and edit it with no proven Track record?

sorry but someone at Boonex needs their head rewired, there is a short there somewhere, can call that idea a bright spark

i suppose it was the owners of boonex, and fortunately for us they are running things the way they wish to run them.
