tyke, in essence there is not much that is really deleted, there is a hide function, but not a delete function. and if you have ever moderated any site, you would know that moving posts from one area to another can prove to be a full time job. typically how i approach this is with a written notice, letting the poster know the exact paragraph of the rules, as well as mention that a set of rules were presented when they initiated the blog post, and allow them a period of time 24 hours (max) to get see more the post moved to the appropriate location on the site.
