Almost got done with setting the permissions. However, even setting the file at 777, I get the following error msg:

Next files have inappropriate permissions:
flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe;

Anybody have any suggestions?

Hard to say and depends on your setup, some setups only require 755 to make this happen. If that's the case and you set 777 it will error out or do nothing at all. So try 755 or other instances of executables.
