Good idea, but this has been requested previously, not exactly written as you have. Also would like to see this correlated with the number of posts provided in the forums.

Also to those who appreciate the suppoort from the members such as Chris, Darren, Houstonlively, dolphin_jay, jtadeo and the many others who spend their valuable time contributing to these forums, you can show your gratitude and appreciation by giving the helpful member a point for their post(s).

In the past Andrew has awarded see more adfree license to members based on the number of points acquired in the forums.

The idea is a good one Chris, and maybe when /unity transitions to D7, this added feature will be realized.
