i see now where this all came to be understood that Dolphin 7 would meet its maker. Earlier in time, you posted that there would be no more updates to Dolphin 7.0, and that Dolphin 7.1 would be released soon. so following that schema, it was understood from this community, that those who were running Dolphin 7.0 need not expect any further updates or support, when you announce that Dolphin 7.1 was being scrapped.

Since the announcement was clear that there would be no more patches on Dolphin see more 7.0. and that that version could go on forever, so all bug reports that were reported on Dolphin 7.0 up through version 7.0.6 were all being slotted in Trac for the milestone 7.1

Then the announcement that Dolphin 7.1 has been scrapped, and Trident has been scrapped, all for the upcoming Dolphin 8 Sundance. So if development on Dolphin 7.0 was announced to be EOL ceased, and all focus was on the milestone Dolphin 7.1, this would be the misrepresentation that was heard throughout the community, that Developement on Dolphin 7 had ended.

Now it is a bit more clear though this was not stated clearly on the announcement, that you were scrapping Dolphin 7.1, which is where the mix up has been derived from, that we could not expect to see any further Development on Dolphin 7.

I am glad things are cleared up, and we are not getting a Brand New Dolphin 8 and seems arbitrary to your statement on other occasions, where it was stated that you were not able to 'finish' because of the way Dolphin 7 was written.

I suppose we wait and see.
