Naturally, you can elect to use it only in one of the blocks, mixing it with other blocks like "Featured Members", "Site Stats", or whatever, but the coolest thing about Outline is that it is perhaps the only kind of "site window" that can be used without any other blocks and still give a broad overview of what's going on.
This means that although the new Outline is what we think is preferred way to display content, it's by no means the only way to do it. You can still build your site homepage to have all those individual content blocks.

The stuff looks nice - anyway it seems to be the new trend in web interfaces. 1) Could you make the piles "float" following the screen size 2) could you add buttons like: all, new members, videos, photos, sounds so that they would switch the content of piles displayed on the home page 3) those could be the round graphic category symbols placed now in the left upper corner of each pile. Alltogether that would give Dolphin some newer and fresher look and get rid of old school web see more 1.0 info flows. P.S. Joomla now is all about Responsive templates.
