How about updating 7.1.4 before you turn 15, or before I'm too old and senile to remember what I wanted to do with this platform in the first place.

As I alluded to in the DU private preview, you really jumped the gun on introducing a platform that is nowhere close to something a person can build a real website with. I really don't want to wait another year or two to find out how it turns out.

There are numerous tickets on the 7.1.5 milestone that could really use some attention. It's been see more over a year since version 7 has seen an update. That's worth repeating. It's been over a year since version 7 has seen an update. Does that make good business sense to you? Take a break from DU, and get 7.1.5 done already. I'm trying very hard to stick with this platform, but when you all but abandon your flagship product product, you make it very, very difficult for me to do so. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling these sentiments.

For the sake of all of us, put some effort into version 7. DU can wait.... it's not yet a platform that anybody around here is going to accept anytime soon. If you ignore V7 much longer, you are going to drag your entire business into the toilet, and all of us customers with you.

I hope you take these comments seriously, and give us 7.1.5

Yes, there will be a Dolphin Classic update before the Dolphin U final release. Quite a bit of work has already been done and a few more ideas, as well as critical issues are on the table.

It's a lot of work for just two coders... don't you think?
Andrew Boon
It is. It would be a lot less work if there were two coders in the first place, though.

Let me put this in perspective. In the last 14 months, you've closed about 30 tickets on the 7.1.5 milestone. There's about 80 tickets left. If you continue at that same rate, it will take another THREE YEARS to tend to all those issues. I don't know how you're going to do it with only two coders working on things, but you need to find a way.
Andrew Boon
We'll find a way. In long term two coders may actually produce a better result, without creating a whole new bunch of issues. The two we've got are the best there is.
