VictorT states: "Google may think that too many URLs have changed and may actually penalize your current site. So, we recommend putting permanent redirects from old URLs to the new ones to avoid problems. " I'm a dummy....What does this mean? How would I do it? Is this something you do in htaccess? Examples???

Is no one else worried about this? Am I the only one who thinks being penalized by Google is a potential site-killer? What "old urls" do I need to put redirects to? Is there a list of files somewhere that says "example.php has become option.php" and so forth?
