Even i agree wid u...
I've said in many posts, and still say, boonex releases new versions of dolphin with too less time gap between them. By the time one modifies one version according to his needs and launches a site, boonex comes wid the next version. And this condition is faced by many people. They loose all of their mods and have to start again after upgrading. With these regular upgrades and mods, the system develops bugs in it...and slowly we reach a point when the next upgrade may just destroy see more the site.
Boonex thinks that releasing 4-5 dolphin versions in a year is gud thing, but that's not so. Instead boonex should work extensively on the script for several months and add as many new features as it can to make dolphin better. We can see that we have so many features in trac which are yet to be added to dolphin. So why does boonex releases a new version without all those requested features??
The reality is that boonex is trying to fulfill the promise of releasing 4-5 versions a year. But is that a gud thing? It seems that whenever boonex releases a new version, it assumes that all of us have site with only dolphin and no other mod...so they just release an upgrade patch with few new features...and think that slowly wid these patches and upgrades, dolphin script wud become great...
BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO HAVE MODS IN THEIR SITES??? Even www.boonex.us is a simple dolphin site on which, i think, boonex uses the upgrade to show us that it works. But what about us...this simply means that whoever wants to use dolphin, should keep working on his site forever and wud keep thinking if his site wud ever become stable.
.
Boonex we want a stable dolphin, and not these regular releases which come after less interval wid just few new features.
.
Now please dont recomment me to use another networking script. That's no solution for this big problem.
Thanks.
